George David Cazalet, 79, of Cantonment, FL passed away Friday, November 29, 2024.

George was born in Auburn, New South Wales Australia on October 24, 1945, to George D. and Beryl May (McDonald) Cazalet.

For 79 years, George weaved a path around the world beginning in Auburn, NSW, Australia and ending in Pensacola, FL, USA. He was a big brother, loving husband, and adored father and grandfather. He enjoyed being a coach, competitive shooter, amateur gunsmith, and a photographer. He was also an avid reader. Couldn't go wrong with gifting him a Tom Clancy book.

George was a committed, hardworking provider of everything the family needed. Respected by those he worked for, those whom worked for him, and those who got to call him dad or grandpa. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lynette Joy Cazalet and survived by his 3 sons, Daniel (Aimee), Matthew (Grayson), and Christopher (Christina). As well as his grandchildren Kylie, Jonathan, Nicholas, Aurora and Ellyana.

A Memorial Mass will be held 9:00am Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 10650 Gulf Beach Highway, Pensacola, FL 32507, with Fr. Tom Collins, celebrant.
