Gerald O. Davis, 81, of Cantonment, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, days after suffering a stroke.

Gerald was born on August 26, 1941, to Orin & Woodie Davis in Clinton, SC. After Gerald graduated from Carolina High School in 1959, he went on to serve in the Air Force from 1962-1966 in the communications squadron.

He then began a long career with Sperry-Univac as a systems engineer, program manager & trainer. Upon retirement he began a career showcasing his lifelong passion for cars. He opened his own custom car shop, Alley Cat Customs, in 1994 and went on to become a Custom Car Master Craftsman.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary Phelps Davis and her daughter, Leslie Simonds; granddaughter, Amber Davis and great grandson, Oliver Davis; as well as his sister, Judi Davis Bishop; his previous wife, Shirley Ann Howard Davis-Jones; his 2 children, Jeffrey S. Davis, Stephanie Davis Bellanova (Christopher Sr) along with their 4 sons, Christopher Jr. (Rachel), Tyler, Thomas & Jonathan Bellanova.

Funeral Cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 11:00am for a Graveside Service to begin at 11:30am Friday, February 10, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.
