IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald Marvin
Kromer
December 7, 1936 – March 18, 2025
Gerald M. Kromer, 88, of Navarre, FL, lovingly known as Jerry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born December 7, 1936, in Nazareth, PA, Jerry was the youngest of ten siblings. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Technical Sergeant in 1977 after 23 dedicated years of honorable service.
In 1954, Jerry's military journey began, and shortly thereafter he met Dolly, the love of his life. They married in July 1955 and enjoyed 70 wonderful years together, nurturing a legacy of love, family, and faith.
Jerry was known for his extraordinary woodworking skills, creating hundreds of lovingly handcrafted items for Dolly's preschool students over the decades, along with treasured furniture and keepsakes cherished by family and friends. Among his greatest joys were spending time with Dolly, watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and sitting on his porch, watching dolphins swim gracefully in the bay behind their home. Jerry's presence is deeply missed, and his memory will be forever treasured by his family and all who know him.
Jerry is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Josephine.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Dolly (Brown) Kromer; his sons, Steven (Debra), Michael (Helen), and Mark (Lori); his cherished grandchildren Timothy (Laurel), Jacob (Megan), Daniel (Jessica), Charles, and Sean; and great-grandchildren Steven, Chloe, Alexander, and Elizabeth.
