Geraldine Amelia (Lowery) Watson, 95, of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Geraldine was a lifelong resident of Pensacola born on April 22, 1930, to Elsie (Hudson) and Dewey Lowery. Geraldine was also known as Dean, Jerry, Gell, Mom, Nana, and Pensacola Nana to those who knew and loved her. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, Nana sewed costumes for majorette competitions, pageants, and plays; hosted holidays and parties in her home; and dedicated her life to loving and supporting her family. By faith, she was Church of Christ. Geraldine was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #310.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elton "Shorty" Watson; her daughters, Judy Snell (David) and Cindy Bardol; her parents; and her siblings, Lois "Sis", Joseph "Bubba", Virginia "Jeaner", Dan, Annie, Howard, Elaine, Dewey, and Gary.
Survivors include her 6 grandchildren, Mike Snell (Lori), Michelle Farmer (Rocky), Jennifer Ballard (Mark), Dava Leverette (Chris), Sara Beard (Tyler), and Lara Lookabaugh (Daniel); 9 great grandchildren, Anna and Jake Tucker, Alex and Emma Snell, Jaycie and Will Ballard; Myroslava and Tymofii Zvirych, and Chase Foster; brother-in-law, Andy Watson (Sissy), and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A private family graveside service will follow at Roberts Cemetery, Gull Point. Attendees are asked to wear pastels to celebrate Nana's life.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Geraldine's great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted.
