Gilbert A Hubbard, Jr. 72, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Pensacola, FL.

Gil was born November 29, 1947 in Pensacola, FL to Daisie Mae Helen (Michaels) and Gilbert A. Hubbard, Sr. He served his country in the US Navy as a Corpsman in Vietnam. He received Purple Heart Medal, Vietnam Services with Star Medal, and a Vietnam Medal with Device. After four years of services he went to college at LSU and received Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Mechanical in 1977. Gil spent numerous years living in New Orleans and then moved to San Francisco, CA where he worked for many years. He then moved back home and went to college to earn an Alternative Certificate in teaching and served the Public School System as a Substitute Teacher. Gil also spent those years taking care of his parents in his time.

He is preceded in death by parents.

Gil was survived by his sister, Martha Ann Hall of South Carolina and loving family in Pensacola. Gil was also loved by friend, Ron Vineyard resides in California.

A Funeral Cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 9:00am Wednesday, June 24, 2020 for Barrancas National Cemetery for a Graveside Service at 9:30am. Gilbert Hubbard will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery.
