Regina Curry "Gina" Bird, 60, of Pace, FL died unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Gina was born on April 8, 1962, in Crestview, FL to Annette (Tucker) and Carlton Edge. In 1980, Gina graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. After graduating she went into the Plumbing Industry working for Gorman Co. and Southern Pipe and Supply for a combination of 25 years as a saleswoman. Gina married David Bird, III in 1994 and started their family.

Gina was an amazing mom, daughter, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. One of her favorite pastimes was horseback riding and was talking about picking it back up before her untimely death. One of her favorite things to do was watch Auburn Football with David.

Gina is preceded in death by her husband, David Ralph Bird, III and her parents, Carlton and Annette Edge.

Gina leaves behind two daughters, Jessica Bird and Jennifer Nabulsi (Mootaz "Taz"); two grandchildren, Averie and Jacob Duke; sister, Donna Edge-Shipe; brother, Tim Edge (Ginji); nephews and nieces, Dallis Shipe; Reise Edge, Darby Edge, and Alexandria Carr.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until a Memorial Service to begin at 4:00pm Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola, FL.

Our family would like to extend many thanks to everyone who was there for our mom after the passing of David. Her sudden loss has broken our hearts, yet the memory of her remarkable life will always be a blessing to all who knew her.
