Gladys B. Donnelly, 94, a resident for over 62 years of Pensacola, FL died Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Mrs. Donnelly was born on October 31, 1917 in Laurel, MS and was raised in Mobile, AL. She worked for the Pensacola News Journal for many years as a telephone operator. Mrs. Donnelly was a loving mother and homemaker who was active in A K Suter PTA serving as president for a year. She was a Charter Member of Heights Baptist Church. Her husband, J. K. Donnelly; son, Patrick Donnelly; daughter, Sue Caffery; and sister, Myrtis Chaillot preceded her in death. Mrs. Donnelly is survived by her three children, Raymond Donnelly (Susan), Berniece Gilmore and Ernest W. Donnelly (Lucy); nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Theresa Donnelly and son-in-law Rich Caffery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Friday, February 3, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 11:30am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Fred Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
