Gladys Merritt Langford was born on July 23, 1921 and passed away July 1, 2015 in Pensacola, FL. Gladys was the elder of two daughters born to Richard Carl and Etta Lee Merritt. Throughout her life Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church of Pensacola. She was a homemaker and a gentle woman with the most amazing heart. Gladys made this world a better place. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Bedford E. Langford; granddaughter, Dabney Lea Langford and brother-in-law, Bill Bryson. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Lee Langford; son, Richard Langford; grandson, Thaxton Langford; sister, Betty Bryson and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Private burial will be held at Bayview Memorial Park. Endearing appreciation is extended to family friend, Ann Parker and First Baptist Church.
