Glenn L. Rothe, Sr., 85, of Pensacola, FL went to join the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

Glenn was born on May 3, 1933 in Helena, AL. He served the in the US Navy as a radioman until his retirement in the early 70's. Glenn moved his family from South Carolina to Pensacola, FL where he took a job as a dispatcher at the Escambia County Sheriff's Department from 1977 until 1993. Glenn loved his football team, "Roll Tide" and never missed a game on television. He had a love for golf, collecting coins, and had a large collection of Alabama memorabilia. Glenn was a loving husband and father. He will truly be missed by family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Brooks Rothe; brothers, Don, Henry and Bob; as well as grandsons, David, Daniel and Justin.

Survivors include his sons, Glenn L. Rothe, Jr. (Janice) and Jamie D. Rothe of both of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Cindy Peacock (Warren) of Alabama, Linda Seitz of Pensacola, FL and Donna Baisden of Pensacola, FL; seven grandchildren, Kevin, James, Michael, Madison, Tyler, Davey, and Danny; six great-grandchildren, Jenna, Logan, Alexis, Lukas, Dylan and Taylor; a great-great-grandchild, Brynlee; sister, Wanda Straiton of Brewton, AL; step-kids, Donna & Terry Brooks; as well as a granddaughter-in-law, Breezie Seitz.

Funeral Cortege will leave Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 10:00am Thursday, July 5, 2018 for a 10:30am Graveside Service at Barrancas National Cemetery.
