Gloria Audrey Baisden, 90, of Pensacola passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. Mrs. Baisden was born in Biloxi, MS on January 2, 1923 to Henrietta Frenella (Daniels) and Alphonse Louis Gilbert. She was raised in Biloxi, MS and moved to Ft. Walton Beach, and worked at the Eglin AFB at the Exchange and retired as Head Cashier. In 1993, after her retirement she and her husband Evans Thomas Baisden moved to Pensacola. She supported her husband as Exalted Ruler in his Elks commitments and functions. Mrs. Baisden was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Mrs. Baisden was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her 15 siblings. Survivors include her daughters, Leta Crittenden (Dr. Jay Crittenden) Kim Baisden Merhar; sons, Gary Myers (Glenda), Larry Baisden (Susan) and Bobby Baisden; grandchildren Jimmie Davis (Linda), Greg Davis (Shannon), Crystal Gray, Jermery Gray, Amber Milward, Evan Baisden and Nicole Baisden; great grandchildren, Melissa Davis, Josh Davis (Allyson), Sydney Davis, Hilton Davis, Hayden Davis, Harper Davis, Nicholas and Joshua Baston, Miranda Vickers (Terry Keith), Madison Sweeney, Morgan Sweeney, Maxwell Sweeney Mikenna Gray, Xander Gray; as well as many other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Larry Anderson officiating.
