Gloria, a loving mother, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2011. She was a Pensacola native and graduate of Pensacola High School. Gloria was a retired Aircraft Instrument Mechanic from NARF, Pensacola NAS. In their earlier years, Gloria and her husband were active in the Karnival Kavaliers and square dancing. After retirement she and Bob traveled extensively and especially enjoyed an Alaskan cruise. She was active in the Pensacola Garden Club. She loved wildflowers and collecting antiques. Gloria was a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rebecca Miller; her husband, Bob; three sisters, Frances Sotir, Juliette Soderquist, and Eleanor Bates and one brother, Walter Miller. She is survived by her sister, Colleen Smith; three children, Bob (Amanda) Fahnestock, Debbie Rutschky and Kathy (David) Nelson; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be from 5"7p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Episcopal Day School. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
