Gloria Joan Mobley, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. Gloria was born October 6, 1935 at the old Sacred Heart Hospital here in Pensacola to Harry and Mae (Newton) Duncan. She lived in Pensacola most of her life, graduating from Pensacola High School, class of 1953. She loved music, cooking, and working in her yard, but most of all she loved her family. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Doyle Mobley; three children, Mike (Jan) Mobley of Kingsport, TN, Pat (Karen) Mobley and Mary Elizabeth Mobley both of Pensacola. She had 5 grandchildren, Erin (Danial) Norman, Christopher (Brittany) Mobley both of Murfreesboro, TN, Kiera (Adam) Wallace of Columbus, OH, Kimberly Mobley of Fort Walton Beach and Tamara (Joel) McDonald of Wauchula, FL; as well as 6 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. Visitation will be held 12:00noon until the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dale Patterson of East Brent Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. The Chuck Bragg Sunday School class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family wishes to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice for all their help and loving care in these last, difficult days of Mom's life.
