Gordon William Bruck, 80, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and a resident of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016.
Gordon was born on June 26, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. He received his B.A. from Trevecca Nazarene College (now University). He was a Sales Representative in the Graphic Arts/Printing Industry and was awarded the National Salesman of the Year by Kodak Polychrome Graphics. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and music. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Woodbridge, VA and was active in the Litho Club of Maryland. He was a veteran who served his country in the United States Air Force.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents: William Bruck and Mary Dorothy Reynolds Bruck.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Bruck of Pensacola; daughters, Shari Bruck Harper of Niceville, FL and Angela Bruck of Woodbridge, VA; a son, Sean Bruck of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Dorothy Carol Erickson of Brentwood, TN; and his grandchildren,
Shep Harper of Niceville, FL, Jayden Harper of Niceville, FL, Layla Bruck of Pensacola, FL, Kenley Bruck of Pensacola, FL and Garrison Bruck of Pensacola, FL.
Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Monday, November 7, 2016 followed by Funeral services beginning at 11:00am in the Pleitz Chapel of First Baptist Church of Pensacola, 500 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
Burial will be held at 12:30pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd., Pensacola (abroad NAS) with Air Force military honors.
Reception will follow at 8817 Salt Grass Dr., Pensacola, FL 32526.
Active pallbearers will be Sean Bruck, Scott Erickson, Daniel Harper, Shep Harper, and Hans Ruska.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Erickson, Rob Parrish, John Simmons, Larry Lunceford, and Rick Kelley.
