Grace Marie Bristol, age 91, of Gulf Breeze, FL, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Grace was born on August 26, 1931, in Kilbourne, LA to the late Lewis Frank and Gracie Mae Grubbs Harper.

Throughout her life Grace was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was an active member of Saint Peters Episcopal Church. She was raised in Kilbourne, LA and excelled at basketball during her time in high school. On August 30, 1953, she married Theodore Louis Bristol, III. Between 1958 and 1975, they resided in Morristown, NJ. While there, she enjoyed playing bridge, swimming, tennis, homemaking, gardening, reading, and traveling with her family throughout New England.

Between 1975 and 1978 she resided in Monroe, LA. In 1978 they decided to move to Gulf Breeze, FL, where Grace enjoyed volunteering her time as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Theodore Louis Bristol, III; three brothers, Norman, Bobby and Nolan Harper; a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Bristol.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her son, Theodore Louis Bristol, IV (Nancy Joyce), of Gulf Breeze, FL; her daughter, Susan Marie Bristol, of Gulf Breeze, FL; her grandson, Micheal Bristol, of Gulf Breeze, FL; three great grandchildren, Chandler, Gracie and Hayden.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Fr. Walt Kindergan, Celebrant, of Christ Church. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at 12:15 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504 to go together to the cemetery in police procession departing at 12:30 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bay Breeze Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center and Covenant Care Hospice for the loving care shown to Grace while in their care.
