Grady Ford, 64, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Grady was born in Lumberton, MS, was a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. For much of his life, he was the proud owner of Grady & Co., where he would spend his days cutting hair and telling stories of fish he may or may not have caught. He was a loving husband and father, but an amazing grandfather of two boys where he will always be remembered as "Buddy." He loved to fish and adored the water. He perfected the fine art of frying mullet. He allegedly wore a paper bag in the Superdome as many Saints fans did at one time. Buddy was a joy to all who met him and those who have met him carry his spirit of life on.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Ford; brothers, Joey Ford and Michael Ford; sister, Penny Ford; as well as his in-laws "parents by marriage", James Sykes and beloved Dorothy "Granny" Sykes.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lisa Ford; son, Nathan Ford (Mary Ann); grandsons, Grady Jameson Ford and Rowan K. Ford all of Gulf Breeze, FL; his mother, Mary Lou Ford of Gulfport, MS; brother, Robert Ford of Gulfport, MS; brother-in-law, Steve Sykes (Dorinda) of Gulfport, MS; sister-in-law, Cynthia Hendry (David) of Big Canoe, GA; as well as dear family friends, Preston, Holly, and Anne Hayes Shaifer of Lake Oconee, GA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Friday, October 14, 2022, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, FL, with Msgr. Luke Hunt celebrant. Private family interment will be held at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Gulf Breeze, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida, 1815 N. 6 ^th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32503.
