Jonathon "Grant" McRae, 36, of Cantonment, FL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Grant was born on October 16, 1987, to Gregg and Patty McRae. He was a Tate High School graduate class of 2005. Grant was an avid hunter and fisherman. He learned that love from his dad and kept the passion going with his best friend and hunting buddy, Devin Mayhair. No woods or lakes were safe with these two around. Grant was a gentle giant, who never met a stranger and had a love for everyone.

Grant is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Tel Pyle.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents; brother, Andrew McRae; paternal grandparents, Tom McRae (Karen), Virginia Kelley; special uncle, Clay Pyle and numerous other family members and friends.

Family will gather at 3pm and receive friends from 4-6pm for memorial visitation Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Gonzalez Methodist Church.
