Hargis Theodore Campbell, Jr., 92 of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday September 13, 2021.

Hargis was born in Pensacola, FL on June 6, 1929 to Hargis Theodore Campbell Sr. and Barbara Muller. He graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1947. Hargis married his high school sweetheart Betty Jane Smith on August 25, 1949. They were married for 71 years. Hargis worked at USF&G Insurance Company until he retired and went on to be an investigator for Shell Fleming & Davis Law Firm.

Hargis is predeceased by his wife Betty S Campbell and great grandson Noah Sims.

Hargis is survived by his sons, Ken (Mike Williams) and Pat (Darlene); granddaughters, Ashley Sims (David), Shelby Roemer (James); his great granddaughter, Chandler Jane Sims; and brother Fred Campbell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 1, 2021 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Jay celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery Pensacola, FL, with Air Force Honors at 1:00 pm. Due to the pandemic, all attendees will be asked to wear face masks for services. This is also required by Barrancas National Cemetery for attendees.
