Hargis Pete Patroni, Sr., 87, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. Pete is a decorated WWII veteran; he joined the U.S. Army in February of 1943, at age 18. Pete enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his boys. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fritzina and Tony Patroni; sisters, Minnie Quigly, Dorothy Davidson, Betty Ciarico and brother, Sam Patroni. Survivors include, his sister, Katherine Dabbs; sons, Hargis Pete Patroni Jr. (Janet), Sam Patroni, Bobby Patroni, Clyde J. Patroni Sr. (Debra) and Tommy Patroni (Lindy). Visitation will be held 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, Pensacola, FL. Funeral Service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, April 23, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be, Hugh Patroni Sr., Joe Patroni, Charlie Patroni, Bubba Grover, Andy Blanton and Louie King. Honorary Pallbearer will be Heath Patroni. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Loaves & Fishes, 257 E. Lee St., Pensacola, FL 32503.
