IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold David
Grosskopf
May 1, 1950 – April 13, 2024
The evening of Saturday, April 13, 2024 I lost my best friend and husband of fifty-three plus years. Harold was and still is my entire world. Even though he had recently been hospitalized, he was recovering and doing very well. His sudden death from an apparent heart attack has left me devastated. He had many friends from his forty-five plus years selling electrical supplies and as a Shriner for many years. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help, usually cooking, tractor or electrical work. My world has been shattered and now I have my own personal guardian angel and all of our fantastic memories will sustain me. I will see you again babe and I'll love you forever. Harold was born and raised in Pensacola and lived his entire life here. He graduated from Pensacola High School, Pensacola Junior College and attended the University of West Florida
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Louise Grosskopf; grandparents, uncles, father-in-law, Richard Kennedy and brother-in-law, C.J. Mitchell.
He is survived by me, Rhonda Grosskopf; sister, Cheryl Mitchell and her children, Danielle and Cliff, along with their spouses and children; mother-in-law, Jerry Kennedy Cotsonis and two brothers in law.
Per Harold's wishes there will be no visitation or service. He is being cremated and there will be a celebration/send off party at 4:00 pm, on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Hadji Shrine Temple, Directors Staff Building.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Hadji Shrine Temple: For the good of the cause, 800 W. 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.
Special thanks to all of his wonderful friends for helping me through this difficult time. Thank you all, Rhonda.
