Hazel L. Sauer, 93, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009. Hazel was born in Walnut Hill, FL on May 21, 1916, and lived in Pensacola all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, August Sauer, and two sisters, Amostene Kitchler and Pauline Saunders. Hazel was a retired food service worker at O. J. Semmes School and a member of McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her three children, a son, Lewis J. Friedrichsen, Jr. and wife DiAnn, of Virginia Beach VA; a daughter, Helen McKenney and husband, Hank, of North Augusta, SC; and daughter, Suzanne Friedrichsen, of Pensacola; a brother, L.T. (Pete) Morgan and wife Frances, of Cantonment; a sister, Winnie Kramer and husband Johnny, of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Mike McKenney (wife, Spring), Keith McKenney and Sam McKenney (wife, Shannon), Jennifer Richardson; a great-grandson, Donovan Casey; and many nephews and nieces. She and Gus enjoyed many travels during their years of marriage and Hazel was devoted to her family. Visitation will be held 2-4pm Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Bayview Memorial Park. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
