Homer Dick Alexander Chambers Miller, 71, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. Dick was born on October 1, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, PA and graduated from Washington High School in Alexandria, VA. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He later became owner and operator of One Stop Copy. Dick was a member of several organizations including Civitans Club, Kiwanis Club and the Pilot Club of Pensacola. He enjoyed a good debate on the subjects of religion and politics and he was passionate about art and music. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lynch Miller and Vivian Chambers Miller; as well as a sister, Christine. Survivors include his loving wife, Marlann Miller; son, Christopher Miller; daughter, Cheri Hamilton (John); step-son, Christopher Jones (Cassandra); grandchildren, Jack and Lane; step-granddaughters, Hannah and Casey; sisters and brothers, Connie Lacasse (Dick), Tom Miller, Carolyn Williams (Gary) and John P.K. Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Friday, April 15, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Pat Foley celebrant. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be Christopher Miller, Christopher Jones, Jim Lacasse, Kevin Lacasse, Beau Schreiber, Gary Williams and John Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
