In Loving Memory of
Hope Allison McDonald
Born Sleeping — Forever in God’s Arms
Hope Allison McDonald was born sleeping on January 29, 2026, at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, FL and was gently received into the loving arms of Jesus. Though her time on earth was brief, her life carries an eternal imprint upon the hearts of those who love her. Hope is the cherished daughter of Steven Glynn McDonald and Bethany Christine McDonald of Pensacola, Florida. She is deeply treasured on earth by her siblings: John Christopher Knight, Katie Lynn Knight, and Presley Allison McDonald. She is also dearly loved by many extended family members and friends whose lives have been forever touched by her presence.
Named while living, her beautiful name carries profound Biblical meaning, now having entered heaven.
Hope is a sacred promise in Scripture — not merely wishful thinking, but confident assurance in the faithfulness of God. Christian hope anchors the soul in Christ and rests in the certainty of eternal life. Allison, meaning “noble” and “of truth,” reflects dignity, grace, and purity. Together, her name speaks of a noble promise — a living testimony that our hope is found in Jesus and that love is eternal. Though we grieve, we do not grieve without hope. God’s Word reminds us: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13
Hope Allison’s life, though hidden in the womb and revealed only briefly to us, is fully known to the Lord. We take comfort in knowing she now dwells in the shelter of the Most High in perfect peace, held forever in the presence of her Savior.
Services have been arranged by Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A private family service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me… for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.’” — Matthew 19:14
Hope Allison McDonald will forever be remembered as a precious daughter, beloved sister, and a radiant reminder that God’s promises are true. Until we meet again, sweet Hope, you remain forever in our hearts and forever in His arms.
In your remembrance we trust God always and serve Him continually.
“When peace like a river, attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul”
