Bobbie Harrell, 88 of Pensacola, died Monday, February 6, 2012. Mrs. Harrell was born Aug. 3, 1923 in Wright, Florida to Ethel Virginia Rogers and John Thomas Wright. She was a licensed pilot and flew missions as a member of the Civil Air Patrol during WWII. She earned her B.S. in Pharmacy from Auburn University in Nov. 1944 at the top of her class (Phi Kappa Phi and Cardinal Key). She had Pharmacy Licenses in Alabama and Florida and practiced pharmacy for over 30 years. She was one of the first female pharmacists in Northwest Florida. She was a Past President of the Esc. Co. Pharmacy Auxiliary and Past Secretary of the Esc. Co. Pharmaceutical Association. With her husband, Philip B. Harrell, she owned and operated Harrells Brentwood Drugstore and developed the Brentwood Shopping Center in Pensacola. She was a member of Pierettes, Marionettes, and Gaiete des Femmes Mardi Gras Crews. Mrs. Harrell is predeceased by her parents, her husband and six of her siblings. She is survived by her five daughters: Hope H. Van Nortwick (Bob Frohwein) of Jacksonville, FL, Susan W. Harrell of Pensacola, FL, Penny H. Tinkler (Scott Tinkler) of Marietta, GA, Tracy H. Ward (Bobby Ward) of Milton, FL, Audrey R. Harrell (Mitch Rolling) of Navarre, FL and three grandchildren: J.P. Tinkler, Morgan Tinkler and Jeremy Snyder. She is also survived by one brother, J.T. (Tommy) Wright of Crestview, FL, her dearest friend and niece, Audrey Early Gibson of Shalimar, FL and other relatives. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Fr. Pat Foley officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed Zwada, Wayne Sumlin, John Sonny Cheslak, Sunny Huff, John Bell, Bruce Common.
