IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Isabel "Belle"
O'Reilly Flamand
June 14, 1935 – February 10, 2019
Isabel "Belle" O'Reilly Flamand, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019.
She was born in Newfoundland, Canada to a large and loving family. She was the oldest of 11 children. She married Norman Grim and spent the rest of her life living in the US in many different states. She became a naturalized citizen in 1966 in Key West, FL. After they divorced, she met and married Charles "Charlie" Flamand and enjoyed 34 years together. She loved him dearly up until and after his death in 2009. They loved to travel and visited many places over the years, including many trips back "home" to Newfoundland. Belle also cherished her time spent volunteering in the lunchroom at Sacred Heart Cathedral School for many years and truly loved the connections she made with the students. She loved gardening, especially her rose garden, and was an excellent quilter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; her stepdaughter, Jeanne Jorgensen; sisters, Mary Rushin, Rosemary Cotten, Dot Schneider and brother, Max O'Reilly.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Guy (Dennis); son, Norman "Butch" Grim Jr.; her stepson, David Flamand (Wendy); her sister, Patricia Byrde (Tony); brothers, Gerald O'Reilly (Maureen), Leonard O'Reilly (Linda), Leo O'Reilly, Michael O'Reilly, and Francis O'Reilly; beloved grandchildren, Kathleen Guy (Grant Hutchinson), Johanna Parker (Lance), TJ Jorgensen, Catie Jorgensen, Dane Jorgensen; great-grandchildren, Jackson Hart and Magnolia Parker; as well as many nieces and nephews that she treasured deeply. She was a truly kind and giving person. We miss her already and will until we meet again. She was a devout Catholic attending Sacred Heart Cathedral until her health failed. She's at peace now with God and her family. The family would like to thank Grant Hutchinson and Karen Koller Noa who helped tremendously in taking care of her for the past two years.
