Isabella was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church and was a member of the League of Women Voters and had previously served on the Board of County Commissioners.

Isabella was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Grimes, Sr. and her sons, Melvin Grimes, Jr. and Clifton Grimes.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Grimes Bueffel of Portland, OR and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grand children.

Graveside Service 9:00am Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Bayview Memorial Park, with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
