Jacob "Jake" Tanner McKinley, 24, of Navarre, FL passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014. Jake was born on August 28, 1990 in Panama City, FL, and lived his entire life in Florida. After graduating from Pace High School, where he participated in drama, he attended the University of West Florida as an honor student. He was currently enrolled in the UWF Pharmacy Technician program and he was extremely happy in this pursuit. Jake was a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, and a Mason. He loved movies and books and continued to participate in drama as a hobby and a passion. Jake was a wonderful son, a great brother, a loving uncle, and a terrific grandson. He was very loving, caring, witty, intelligent, honest, and an avid fan of Auburn football. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin McKinley and uncle, Doyle McKinley. Survivors include his mother, Cynthia McKinley; father, Daryll McKinley (Lisa Till); sister, Megan Blackstone (Kincey Moy); nephew, Logan Blackstone; grandmother, Betty "Glo" McKinley; grandparents, Ron and Lorenda Enslow; uncle, Dean McKinley; uncle Richard Parks and aunt Ronna Beth Parks; cousins, Cameron and Shane Parks and Casey Helton; His loving pets, Jack, Stubs, Crossbow, and Jett; best friend, Kip Hayes and many more devastated friends and family. Visitation will be held 2:00pm until the Memorial Service to begin at 3:00pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
