Jadine Williams, 86, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.
She was born in Kansas City, KS. Jadine was a long-time resident of Gulf Breeze and lived in the panhandle from 1955 until she moved to St. Petersburg in 2006 after frequent nudging from her daughter. Jadine worked as a secretary for the Naval Air Station until she met and married Al Williams and had two children. Jadine was a self-taught quilter and belonged to the Quilter's Guild for many years and enjoyed a life-long passion for sewing. In addition to sewing, Jadine was an avid reader, gardener, and antique collector. She volunteered extensively over the years, including as a literacy teacher for adults and worked for many years in her Lutheran church offices in both Gulf Breeze and St. Petersburg. She was a deeply religious person and relied on her strong faith all her life.
In addition to her parents, Jadine is preceded in death by her husband, Wiley "Al" Williams and sister, Barbara Bailey.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Williams; son, Mark Williams (Lara); and grandchildren, Mark Williams Jr., Alyson Sutton, and Sean Williams.
Graveside Service will be held 10:00am Friday, December 31, 2021, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pensacola.
