James Clifford Andrews, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011. Most people know him as Cliff Andrews. Born in Waukeenah, FL, he graduated from Monticello High School on June 4, 1950. Cliff was employed many years in General Motors Parts departments. He was past president of the General Motors Managers Club, past president of the Karnival Kaveliers, past president of the Krewe of Lafitte, long standing member of Escambia Masonic Lodge #15, F&AM, Grotto, Scottish Rite and Hadji Shrine. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Oler Andrews; brother, Bill (Eudalia) Andrews; sisters, Thelma (Claude) Groome and Clyde (Danny) Daniels; brothers-in-law, Berl Greene and Albert Mayo. He is survived by his wife Jean; sister, Jewel Greene Mayo; brothers-in-law, Tom (Clara), Gerald (Shirley) and David (Sarah); sisters-in-law, Helen Marshall and Marie Fowler; grandsons, Bryan and Carl (Misty); great grandsons, Chase and Elijah; great granddaughter, Savannah; many nieces and nephews and very special friends, Roland Cook and Todd Murphy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5-7pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:00am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Chapel.
