James "Jim" D. Warren, 82, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, October 5, 2012. Jim was born in Tallapoosa, GA on April 7, 1930. He retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 497 for over 33 years and the Fleet Reserve Association # 22 of Pensacola. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris C. Warren; granddaughter, Stephanie Reese and a stepson, Clyde Louis Cushing. Survivors include one brother; five sisters; one step daughter; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 12noon until the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full Navy honors. Pallbearers will be Jay Reese, Marco Angelini, Wayne Pritchett, Robert Harkleroad and Eric Wegner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge # 497, P.O. Box 551, Gulf Breeze, FL 32562.
