Obituary
James Daniel "J.D." Scott, 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Mr. Scott was born in Century, FL. He worked for 30 years as an electrician for International Paper in Cantonment and retired in 2004.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lila Beth Scott of Pensacola, FL; son, David Scott (Christina) of Wetumpka, AL; his three daughters, Liz Barnes (Tony) of San Diego, CA, Cindy Ramirez (Rick) of Daphne, AL and Jennifer Sherlock (Marty) of Pensacola, FL; nine grandchildren, Megan Scott, Mitchell Barnes, Ariel Faircloth, Matthew Barnes, Kyle Ramirez, Logan Scott, Ryan Ramirez, Greggory Sherlock and Robert Sherlock; as well as two great-grandchildren, Gracey Landreth and Ella Faircloth.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00am Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 6 E. Wright St., Pensacola, FL with Dr. Wesley Wachob officiating. A reception will follow in the Wright Place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church – Living Trust, 6 E. Wright St., Pensacola, FL.
