James Edgar Driskell, Jr., age 91, of Pensacola, was called home by the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023. James was born in Atlanta, GA to the late James E. Driskell Sr. and Beatrice Mason Driskell.

James was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of First Baptist Church. James had worked as a Food Broker before his career as a Real Estate Broker, from which he retired, he also retired as a member of the Pensacola Board of Realtors. James was an avid animal lover, he enjoyed the company of many beloved dogs and cats over the years.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife of 37 years, Virginia "Jean" Carter Driskell; his children, James E. Driskell, III, Terri Driskell Johnson, Randall Lee Driskell (Linda), Robert Wayne Driskell, Steven Allen Driskell, Debbie Carter Hof, Lisa Carter Whitney (Doug); grandchildren, James Driskell IV,  Carolyn Johnson (Dylan), Jeremy Johnson (Heather), Timothy Driskell (Anna)  Aaron Driskell, Doug Whitney, Jack Whitney and Landon Whitney and great grandchildren, Riggs, Charlotte, Jeremiah, Brayden, Amelia, Ronnie and Jamison.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Senterfitt Driskell and infant daughter, Karen Ann Driskell.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until a Memorial Service to begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. David Snyder, officiating.  A committal service will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.  Honorary pallbearers will be William "Bill" Pennewill and Richard Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Pensacola.
