James P. Dyehouse 1931-2009 James P. Dyehouse, 77, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009. Jim came to Pensacola in 1966 with his family to be the Director of Auxilliary Services at the University of West Florida. He retired from the university in 1993. He enjoyed tennis, canoeing, birdwatching, botany and traveling. He also enjoyed his small book selling business. A devoted fan of WUWFs radio Live, he appreciated music, especially jazz. Preceding him in death were his parents, Margaret and Virgil Dyehouse and a son, Samuel Thomas Dyehouse. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Pensacola; a daughter, Sara of Pensacola; son, David (Shellia) of Plano, TX and a granddaughter, Samantha of Plano, TX. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Atrium at Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 2:00pm from Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Ninth Avenue Campus with Rev. Connie Ragghianti and Dr. Philip McVay officiating.
