James (Jim) Ernest Wadsworth, 78, of Pensacola, FL died Saturday, September 26, 2009. Jim was born on January 6, 1931 in Syracuse, New York, and moved to Pensacola in 1977. He was a 20-gallon Apheresis Platelets Donor and he was an avid golfer. Jim was a very loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. His parents John and Gladys Wadsworth, and brother Arthur Wadsworth preceded Jim in death. He is survived by his wife, Wanda of Pensacola; sisters Jane Doran, Sally Tartaglia (Carl), Ann Amidon (Lloyd) all of New York; brothers John of Tennessee, Duane (Diane) of New York; sons Donald (Teresa) of Orlando, Robert of Milton, and David Presley (Nikki) of Milton; grandchildren Lauren of Orlando, Benjamin, Zachary and Isabel of Milton; and extended family all across the country. Visitation will be held at East Brent Baptist Church from 12 to 1pm Tuesday, September 29, 2009, a Memorial Service will begin at 1pm, with Dr. Dale Patterson and Rev. Clint McBroom officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Adult 5 Sunday School Dept. of East Brent Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be may to East Brent Baptist Church, 4801 N.
