Obituary

Dr. James Dwight Hale, 63, of Pensacola, FL died Friday, December 26, 2014. Dr. Hale was born on April 25, 1951 in Crossville, TN. He earned his BS in Special Education, his Masters in Music and his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Hale was a retired Professional Educator and was a Licensed Certified Counselor. He also was an Amateur Ham Radio Operator and achieved expert level instructor status. Dr. Hale enjoyed fishing, RC racing, shooting and marksmanship, making pipes and flutes, teaching Native American Education and the performing arts with the TOSAC (Thomasville On Stage And Company). He was a member of the Thomasville Ham Radio Operators Club and was a Pilot and Instructor with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) in Thomasville. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudine C. Hale of Pensacola, FL; his 3 sons, Jason Dwight Hale (Lisa) of Pensacola, FL, Christopher Jarrell Hale (Carrie) and Jesse Daniel Hale both of Thomasville, GA; and 4 grandchildren, Olivia and Elizabeth of Pensacola, FL and Jost and Pace of Thomasville, GA. Private Family Memorial Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 1275 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY 10605.
