James Blair "Jim" Livingston, 93, of Pensacola passed away Friday March 13, 2015. Mr. Livingston was raised in Marianna, FL by his parents Joe and Lucy Livingston, and had many interesting and exciting experiences in his 93 years. He was a graduate of the University of Florida and was a loyal fan of Gator Sports. In his 26 year military career in the Army and Air Force, Jim was a veteran of WWII, Korean Conflict and Viet Nam, and he achieved the rank of Major. He worked for Monsanto for 30 years. In retirement Jim loved to travel the world up until two years ago, he also enjoyed spending more time with loved ones and volunteering. From a young age, he accepted Jesus Christ and for the rest of his life grew stronger through God's Word and the Holy Spirit. Even in the end proclaimed his faith to that last day here on earth. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Marion Livingston; and brother, Joe Livingston. Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon Livingston of Pensacola; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Roland Henry; four grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Meridith and Melissa Henry all of Tallahassee; brother, Billy Livingston (Mott) of Blakely, GA; sister, Polly Beesley of Oklahoma City, OK; nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held 3:00-5:00pm Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Monday, March 23, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Pastor Frank Gore officiating. Inurnment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
