Obituary

James C. Robinson, Jr., of Cantonment, FL, passed away on December 12, 2012. He was President of the Florida National Bank for 40 years as well as serving in numerous organizations over many years. He loved Pensacola and enjoyed his many civic involvements. He also loved golfing and Auburn Football. He was proud of his serving on a committee to build the Escambia Equestrian Center where he was Show Manager for 20+ years. He also was a member of the Gadsden Street United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for 40 years and has a class named in his honor. He is survived by his wife, Betty Parrish Robinson; daughter, Lisa Robinson Wright; granddaughter, Branigan Wright and several cousins. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, December 14, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Private Family Graveside will be held at Bayview Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Jim Robinson Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Gadsden Street United Methodist Church Building Fund or Pensacola Hunter Jumper Association.
