James Michael Touart, age 74, a native of Pensacola, FL passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born on January 25, 1941 to George James and Vivian Camille (O'Leary) Touart. Jim graduated from the Pensacola Technical High School in 1960. He served proudly thereafter in the US Air Force in the early sixties. He retired after working as a precision machinist at NAS Pensacola and NAS Jacksonville for many years. He enjoyed fishing, especially cast-netting for mullet. Jim was preceded in death by his father, George James Touart and his mother, Vivian Camille (O'Leary) Touart; his brother, George Joseph Touart; his cousin, George Flournoy Touart; his sister-in-laws, Linda Susan (Penton) Touart and Emily Diane (Hendricks) Touart. Jim is survived by his wife, Frances Helen (Zdankiewicz) Touart of Pensacola, FL; their daughter, Theresa Ann (Touart) Lucas and her husband Eric Lucas of Middleburg, FL and 2 grandchildren, Alexandra Burkes and Matthew Burkes. In addition, he is survived by his uncle, Clyde Edward Touart and his aunt, Mary Evelyn (Osborne) Touart; aunt, Edna Valencia (Touart) Thompson; his brother, John Thomas Touart; aunt, Katherine Clotilde (O'Leary) Satterwhite and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Rosary will be recited at 5:00pm, followed by general visitation until 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel on Airport Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm (noon) on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Casserly celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with Air Force honors. Special thanks to Mary Lee Higdon and Alice and John Bailey for being there in our time of need.
