October 12, 1943 – April 25, 2019
Jan Klimuszko, of Pensacola, 75 passed away peacefully on the morning of April 25, 2019. Jan's strong trust in God gave him patience and strength dealing with several health issues these past months. We know that he is home now and completely healed.
Jan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Connecticut State and also a Masters degree from Troy State. Before retiring, he spent the last eleven years in sales at Sears in Pensacola using his great people skills.
Jan was thirty-one years sober in AA and was a part of Celebrate Recovery at Cokesbury United Methodist Church. He shared twenty-two sweet years with his wife, Faye. He loved baseball, fishing, card games, coffee and cooking was an art with him. He was happiest spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Betty Klimuszko; step-grandson, Nicholas Dorris; brother-in-law, James Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Klimuszko; daughter, Joan McLendon (Chuck); granddaughters, Katelyn McLendon and Lauren McLendon; step-sons, Bud Dorris, Jr. (Opal), Ben Dorris (Terri), Barry Dorris (Jennie); step-grandchildren, Laura Dorris, Lance Dorris, Alex Dorris, Blake Dorris and Drew Dorris; sister, Patricia Ferraris (Peter); brother-in-law, Jimmy Jones (Ann) and sister-in-law, Alice Ryan.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm until a Memorial Service at 2:00pm Friday, May 3, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Paul Wolfe officiating.

Special thanks to the loving and compassionate nurses, nursing assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists and administrative staff at Arcadia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pensacola. We are forever grateful for your amazing care of Jan during these last few months.
