Jane M. (O'Day) Kickham, loving wife of James A. Kickham (USAF, Ret.) and daughter of Edward and Antoinette (Kroll) O'Day, born June 28, 1930 in St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2020 at the age of 90.

Jane obtained her teaching certificate from Fontbonne College and was an energetic elementary educator for many years. Over the years Jane worked in a variety of occupations, eventually retiring as an employee of the State of Missouri. After Jim's death in 1993, Jane earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of West Florida, graduating with honors. Throughout her husband's military career Jane was active in the Officers' Wives Club and donated her time to numerous parish charities. After she and Jim settled in Pensacola, Jane continued to give back to her community by volunteering at local nursing homes and serving as a Eucharistic Minister. Jane will always be remembered for her caring spirit and outgoing personality. Her children and grandchildren continue to be blessed by her devotion, selflessness, generosity, and love.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, James Kickham and her sisters; Mary O'Day, Rose O'Day, and Margaret (O'Day) Bruno.

She is survived by her sister, Grace O'Day of St. Louis, MO; her son, Ed Kickham and his wife, Diane, of Chicago, IL and Venice, FL; her son, Tim Kickham and his wife, Karen, of St. Louis, MO; and her daughter Sally Kickham and her husband, Don Fritz, of West Hartford, CT. Jane also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Andy and Elizabeth Kickham, Sam, Gus, and Maggie Kickham, and Kerry McFadden.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 8, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 3131 Hyde Park Rd. in Pensacola, followed by burial in Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Sheila Chopp for her caring attention and assistance to Jane toward the end of her time with us.
