Janet Elizabeth Brown, 64, of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Janet was born on February 16, 1952 in Pensacola. She was educated in the Pensacola schools and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Pensacola State College.

Her career was with the City of Pensacola as an Administrative Assistant and included serving as the Executive Assistant to the City Manager. Janet retired several years ago.

Janet was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, Pensacola where she served on the Altar Guild.

Her father, Louis L. Brown preceded her in death on February 3, 2016.

Janet is survived by her mother, Marion V. Brown; a sister, Nancy Brown Miller and her former husband and dear friend, Robert A. Jones, all of Pensacola.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:30am from St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Susan R. Sowers, Rector and The Rev. Walter Kindergan, Associate Rector officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish House.
