IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet Maxine
Pardonner
January 9, 1942 – October 9, 2018
Janet Maxine Pardonner, age 76, passed away gently early morning October 9, 2018.
Janet was born January 9, 1942 in Winamac Indiana to the late Darcy Glen Morris and Florence Alice Timm.
She married David Pardonner on June 27th, 1962 and was widowed in November 30 th 2013.
Janet is survived by two children, Steve and Jeff, ten grandchildren and her sister, Shirley.
Janet (and husband David) passionately pursued several deep convictions; that everyone can know the character and nature of God for themselves, never quit, covenantal marriage expressing the long suffering, grace-filled nature of God, and finally to generously express the love of God tangibly.
From these convictions Janet (and David) learned and taught inductive Bible study, prayed many hours for others, counseled and nurtured hearts through marriage ministry, courageously endured a life threatening mission trip to Russia, and gave generously to support numerous missionaries and ministries.
Uniquely, Janet was continually a student of the gifts of the spirit, President of a Women's Aglow Chapter and most dear to her heart; the graceful expression of liturgical dance.
Janet moved to assisted living after losing her husband of 51 years. We cannot express enough deep gratitude to the many countless friends who visited Janet bringing cookies, smiles, bible study, prayers and hugs. Thank you! A very heartfelt thank you to the Beacon, Arbors and Emerald Coast Hospice for the excellent loving care and comfort that made her life and death so peaceful.
A very profound thank you to Brinn, Mom's caregiver but more importantly her "daughter." You beautifully decorated her room with cherished picture memories, adding color to every corner, ensuring soothing essential oil smells, arranging visits, social activities, eliminating bump and fall risks, meticulously monitored plan of care, scheduled and chauffeured to appointments, researched every option under the sun to overcome Parkinson's Disease, and enjoyed together Mom's favorite hobby: shopping. You ministered to her sorrows, kept loneliness at bay and infused continual loving kindness and friendship and post-poned your own self advancement. Indebted to your gift of love, thank you Brinn! "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." (Jn 15:13)
A private family celebration of Janet's life will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers please consider a gift to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.
