Janice Pyle, 79, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Janice was born in Pensacola, FL on July 16, 1946, to Joseph Monroe and Minnie Pearl (Paulk) Amerson. She attended local schools and received her Registered Nursing degree from Pensacola Junior College. She and her husband worked together and opened The Fertility Institute at Gulf Breeze Hospital in the early 80's. They assisted hundreds of couples in experiencing the gift of life. Janice's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, gardening and cooking. She had a nurturing heart and compassion for all living creatures. Most of all she was a devout Christian and loved her Lord and Savior.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert C. Pyle, Sr.; son, Doy Josey; her parents; sister, June Reeves; and grandson, Coby Cates.

She is survived by five children, Sherri Lyn Pyle, Robert C. Pyle, Jr., Robyn Wong (Chris), Shanon McKay (William), Cameron Cates (Mark); granddaughters, Jade, Jordan, Cassidy and Lora; nephews, Max and Michael; niece, Linda and other relatives.

A Private Family burial will be held at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery.
