Janis Kay Brady, 75, passed away on November 12, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital after suffering a severe stroke. She is survived by her sister, Jocelyn Bentz; her daughter, Victoria Strunk; her son, Stephen Provost and grandchildren, Nicholas Logan, Andrew Logan, Chelsea Logan, Jessica Strunk, Corey Strunk and Lindsay Strunk. Sweet woman, dearest sister, mother and grandmother. Words cannot express how greatly she will be missed. A RN and nurse case manager for more than 40 years, she was a respected woman in her profession. She was loved by all that knew her kind loving spirit. She was a selfless person who made constant sacrifices for those she loved and cared for. Family was her world. She was a woman full of character, class and love who touched many lives. She loved being a part of her Church, Unity of Pensacola. She participated in Tai Chi and looked forward to pedicures with her granddaughter. She enjoyed spending time with and having long talks on the phone with family in Florida, Ohio and Washington. We are comforted only by the fact that she has gone to be with the Lord and join her beloved husband, Cyrus Brady; daughter, Pamela Logan; son, Richard Provost and brother, Jack Gillen. Forever in our hearts she will remain. A Memorial service will be held at 6pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Unity of Pensacola, 716 N. 9th Ave.
