On September 22, 2016, our sweet Jason Prendergast unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his home in Gulf Breeze. We will always cherish the twenty years we were given with him and hold in our hearts his strength, independence and sense of adventure. A naturally gifted mechanic with a penchant for riding dirt bikes, endlessly playing Call of Duty and long afternoons on the beach. He inspired us to keep looking forward, to love fiercely and to laugh even during the hardest of times.

He was preceded in death and welcomed into the next life with open arms by his loving grandmother, Lois Z. Crooke and his paternal grandfather, Donald Prendergast Sr.

He is survived by his mother and father, Jeanne Crooke and Donald Prendergast (Carole); brothers, Charles Prendergast and Donald Lee Prendergast III; step-sisters, Sarah Oglesby, Taryn Vallorosi, Victoria Vallorosi and Noelle Vallorosi; grandfather, Charles O. Crooke; grandmother, Rosemary G. Prendergast and extensive extended family.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 until the Memorial Service begins at 6:00pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
