January 20, 1974 – August 5, 2023
Jason M. White, age 49, of Escambia County, FL, was called home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Jason was born to Larry and Jacqueline Hampton White in Demopolis, AL. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. To say he will be missed is an understatement, but we have peace knowing he is now at his home prepared by Jesus. Jason was a true believer in Jesus Christ and It was his mission to make sure he did his part to spread the gospel and help others find their way home.
Jason was married to the love of his life, Amanda M. White, for twenty-three years. Together they had two beautiful children, Bethany and Luke. Jason loved to watch Bethany sing and watch Luke in his sport activities. He loved to volunteer his time with the church. He completed several mission trips; one to New York with a church plant, two trips to India one to Brazil working and teaching the word, he really loved to give to others. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the University of Alabama, Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Jason worked in Finance and Mortgage Banking. He loved to spend time outdoors fishing and playing golf. His favorite day was Sunday, he would gather with his fellow Christian brothers and sisters to worship Jesus together. Jason was loved by all, and he loved everyone he met.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Carena White.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife, Amanda White; a daughter, Bethany White; a son, Luke White; his father, Larry White; his mother, Jacqueline Whie; Sister, Janine Trimm; two nieces, Kaitlyn Nichols and Kerianna Turner; nephew, Wayne Cawthorn.
Visitation will be held 10:00am until a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00am Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Harper- Morris Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Walt Magaha, officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Anna Parker at West Florida Hospital, Dr. Shailesh Patel at Woodland Medical Center, Dr. Charles L. Wulff of West Florida and Cheryl Gleason at Emerald Coast Hospice. Thank you all for the love and care shown to Jason during his illness.
