Jay James Johnson, 61, native of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Jay was a devout Christian, loving father and granddaddy. He enjoyed being a truck driver, playing golf, cheering on the Florida State Seminoles and spending time with his family. He will be missed and remembered by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Estella Johnson. Survivors include his brother, Tom Johnson (Jenn); his daughter, Stephanie Quilty (Joey); his son, Joey Johnson (Tracy); grandchildren, Madeline and DJ Quilty; nephews, Rick Johnson (Anna) and Cam Johnson (Christy). Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Graveside Service will be held at 3:15pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Bayview Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Cooley officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Matt Johnson, Gerald Finch, Roger Shell, Sherman Barnes III, and Cam Johnson.
