Jean Chambers Buckalew Andrews, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She was born in Kilpatrick, AL on Feb. 25, 1927. Jean spent most of her life in Pensacola. She owned and operated a Beauty Salon in Myrtle Grove for many of those years. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Lee Buckalew and James Andrews; her father, Jeanie W. Chambers and her mother, Lutealia Chambers; her brother, Gerald Chambers; sister, Gwinell Bowling; as well as her daughter, Jacquelyn Newton. Survivors include her brothers, Tom (Clara), David (Sarah) and Glenn (Gail); sisters, Hellen Marshall, Marie Fowler and Sandy Chambers; grandsons, Bryan Newton (Michele) and Carl Newton (Misty); and great grandchildren, Chase, Eiljah and Savannah. Visitation will be held 1:00pm until the Funeral Service to begin at 2:00pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Dr. Al Butler officiating. There will be a private family interment at Bayview Memorial Park. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Specialty Center of Pensacola, Stephen Quinnell, the Kilpatrick's and Rita Bagwell for helping with her care the last few years.
