Obituary

Jean Wilkinson Clancy of Pensacola, FL died August 12, 2014. She was a sixth generation descendant of Florida Pioneer Neil Wilkinson who settled in northern Escambia County when it was Spanish Territory. A member of the Albuquerque, New Mexico Junior League, Jean was one of the original thirteen founders of the Pensacola Junior Service League in 1956, which later became the Pensacola Junior League. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Her parents, William D. and Bennie McMillan Wilkinson; her brother, William D. Wilkinson, Jr.; and her husband, C. Leonard Clancy preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Jennie Merritt and her husband Jerry Merritt; as well as her sister, Sue Wilkinson Fritts, who lives in Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 9:00am Friday, August 15, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Frank Beall officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
