Jean Francis White, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Mr. White was born in Trenton, NJ on March 9, 1930 to George and Mary (Geheb) White.

Jean served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Supervisor with the Civil Service at NADEP.  Jean was a member and Deacon with the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Sexton of Holy Cross Cemetery, Director of Diocese for Cemeteries and a member of the Pensacola Rose Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Mary Strohm; daughter Colleen White; son-in-law, Steven Cain; brothers, George and Donald White; sister-in-law, Gloria White.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth DelGallo White; daughters, Karen Thomann (Frank), Lynnette Ross (Kenneth), Peggy Cain; sons Thomas White, Jude White (Nancy); brother, Richard White; sister, Betty DelGallo; sister-in-law, Beth White.; 11 grandchildren, Eric, Mark, Jean, Parker, twin granddaughters, Christina & Catrina Ross (both deceased), John Ross, Rachel Leino, Joshua White, Nikki White, David Hickey, Meghan Hickey; great grandchildren, Jake, Brantly, Caleb Thomann, Peyton Ross, Ethan Leino, Jacob Leino, Addison Hickey, Jace Hickey and Dakota Stansberry.

A Vigil Service will begin at 6:00pm Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart followed by the visitation until 8:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. James Flaherty celebrant.

Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Mausoleum.
