Jeanne Freret Agnew Bell, fondly known as JJ, was born on March 30, 1954, and passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, surrounded by family.

Jeanne spent her early childhood in New Orleans. She moved to Pensacola in middle school, attended Workman Jr. High and graduated from the Pensacola School of Liberal Arts. She put down her roots in Pensacola and she was blessed with an abundance of friends and family. She loved fashion, the Arts, and a good, deep conversation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleon Ferguson Gomila and Harmon Charles Agnew and her stepfather, Arthur Joseph Gomila.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Keith Lamothe Bell; her sons, Keith Lamothe Bell, Jr. (Virginia Chapleau Bell), Kevin Arthur Bell (Margaret Dempster Bell), and Christopher O'Connor Bell; as well as her grandchildren, Camilla Jane Bell, Avery Louise Bell, Hoyt Dempster Bell, Harper Anne Bell, and Blake Ferguson Bell.

She will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Covenant Hospice Care Foundation.
